What a tremendous thought that instead of hitting ourselves on the head because we weren’t in our bibles today that we could dedicate our simple actions throughout the day to our Lord. Our worship may not always be in song, it may be in a word of encouragement to another. Our honor to God may not be in bible reading but in obedience in the tiny situations throughout the day. Perhaps I can work my menial tasks of the day as unto the Lord, and then I could joy in my obedience to Him. Suddenly my daily business is not loathsome, but enjoyable because at all times I am in God’s presence worshiping Him, living for His glory.
Colossians 3:23 - "Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men"
