Endure to the end, don’t be discouraged
Satan loves to lie to most believers about their walk. Since most have an up and down sort of Christian life, at their up points he tells them that they are just going to be down again, so what’s the use? And at their low points he tells them that they are not saved.

That’s a lie.

As we’re climbing up the mountain toward God we shouldn’t be asking ourselves if we’ve stumbled our not – of course we have! We should instead be asking ourselves the question, am I still looking upward to make it to the top? As long as you still seek that, then you’re on your way. As long as you’re still determined to do something about your stumbles, (that is, get up and climb again), then God will help you because " everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened.” Luke 11:10

Satan would love to discourage you to the point of giving up on the Christian life because it’s “too hard.” “God’s standard is too high.” Remember that God is not a heavy task master. He wants you to succeed and He’s living in you in order that you can do that!

Matthew 11:29-30 (29) "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. (30) "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

God is more patient with you than you are for yourself. So be encouraged, and keep on seeking the Lord. As long as you endure and do not turn your back on Him without returning, He will keep you. It isn’t about stumbling, it’s about enduring. It isn’t about walking a perfect life, it’s about repenting, and not giving up. If you do this to the end, then you’ve endured. Some sheep are closer to their Shepherd than others, but all are still in the same pen. Those that aren’t his have wandered away for good and will never be seen again. Do not be content to merely be in the pen. Be one of those sheep who stick closest to their Shepherd.
